Yerobot,

Can you translate the DFRobot PDF of the A4WD and post it here?  And could you also upload pictures of completed A4WD with a Romeo as well as the Motor shield on a standard Arduino?

Thanks!

HI, Just take few shoots.

Simply connect 4 motor wires to Romeo Motor terminal and 2 power wires. Job  done!

A 7.2V NiMH battery will power the robot.

Here is a shop where you can find these batter :

For Motor Shield, it is quite straight forward.

1) Connect motors to 4 terminals which showed in the diagram.

2) Plug onto Arduino, and power Arduino with external power supply, ideally 7V-12V will be great.

A question about the A4WD
« Reply #4 on: February 16, 2010, 04:15:36 PM »
Hello,
I am thinking about making an Arduino robot with the Arduino Motor Shield , Arduino and 4WD Mobile Platform.

Below I have made a image of what I would like to do. Please could you tell me if my wiring is right and if this is possible. ( I am using a 9V battery to power the Arduino)

Thank you very much,
                                        From Tom

P.S: Could you please tell me where the Assembly Guide is so I can put it together and see the images of each stage of construction.

Thank you so much, I have the 4WD Mobile Platform and I can't wait to use it. Just one last question:

Do you know where the instructions or manual is for putting it all together?

From,
          Tom.

We haven't got the updated assembly guide yet. Here is an old version. Pretty much the same thing.
